I'm Hugo. I draw surfaces most of the day, read about drawing surfaces in the evenings, and write this blog in between so the stuff I learn doesn't fall out the back of my head.

I started using Autodesk Alias in 2022, where I quickly learned the power of this software and its boundless possibilities. The learning curve was steep, and up-to-date resources were scarce. This site is partly a notebook and partly a simple dialogue of surface, the kind I would have appreciated finding during my earliest days learning.
